OKOKOK, I have to stop buying baby boy clothes! I totally admit that boy clothes are not nearly as cute as little girl clothes. But there are still some gems out there! Remember how I got obsessed with Tea Collection stuff for Alexa? Well. It turns out that they have some pretty cool stuff for little boys too! Check out this selection of Tea Collection outfits that I got for 1/2 off, plus some clearance Carters stuff. Totally leaning toward navy blue and darker colors... More boyish than pastels and sail boats!

Another outfit for our baby boy!
After lunch in Bethesda on Saturday, we did a little shopping and Mommy found this adorable newborn Zutano outfit for half off! Sure, it's very baby-ish. But it's cute. Our little boy can dress like a baby until he's 3 months.

Cute stuff for Baby Brother!
I was out of town this past weekend and squeezed in some quality power shopping! I got a bunch of cute stuff for Baby Brother -- an orange and blue monkey jumpsuit from a funky organic brand called My Little Pakora and a totally cuddly navy blue elephant Jellycat stuffed animal for his jungle-theme nursery. Check it out! And check out this matching book, which I might have to order!

A gift from Grandpa Bean!
Our little Lima Bean will look adorable in her hot pink fleece vest, a gift from Grandpa Lima Bean!

We were out shopping yesterday (surprise, surprise) and we took Grandpa Bean to REI. He is a hiker and loves this store. He disappeared inside for hours.
And look what he bought for Lima Bean! Close-up shot below. Our little girl will be hiking with Grandpa in no time! After she learns to walk that is...
Btw, speaking of walking, my dad and I just did a nice hour-long loop of NIH. Must have been 3-4 miles. Good walk. Sill no baby though!
However, our GRILL has been delivered! Yay! Couches on Wednesday, grill on Thursday, baby on Friday... Right?

More shopping! Still no baby!
I am convinced that Baby Lima Bean is a shopaholic. See, every day she is late, I have nothing else to do, so I go out shopping and buy her stuff. She's sitting in there going, "I wonder what I'll get if I hold off ONE more day?!"
Oh yes, this one will be trouble. Papa Bean better watch out!
As it is, we spent today in Friendship Heights introducing my sister and mom to the fabulousness that is Filene's Basement. And lo and behold, I even discovered something new about Filenes... They have a baby section!
Five-piece Puma outfit sets for $19.99 each... Ralph Lauren dresses for $25 each... I couldn't resist! And now Baby Lima Bean has more cute clothes... Not like she needed any more! She is going to be one stylish baby. I only hope I can dress well enough to carry her around!
Like I said... Watch out, Papa Bean!

Holy tie-dyed cuteness!
Lima Bean just got a surprise in the mail from her cousin Samantha! Check out these tie-dyed onesies, hand dyed by Samantha! Wow!
We can't wait for Baby Lima Bean to wear these cute outfits!
Goooooooooo Steelers!
OMG, look at these adorable outfits for our little Steelers baby! And check out the "Terrible Toddler Towel"!
Papa Bean is a huge Steelers fan, so Aunt Connie from Pittsburgh wanted to make sure his little girl would be all dolled up for football Sundays! Guess this means Papa Bean will have baby duty on Sundays!
And it also means the Steelers need to make the playoffs again -- Because we have Lima Bean's Super Bowl party outfit all picked out!

Oh my cuteness!
I. Have. Discovered. The. Cutest. Baby. Clothes. Ever! Seriously. I may not be able to buy cute clothes for my bloated self (I swear if one more person tells me that I look humongous and the baby must be coming any day now, I will scream!)... But I sure can buy adorable designer threads for my little princess! Who cares that she's not born yet. Since when is being born a necessity when it comes to cute clothes?

BUT THEN, I Googled. I had to... And I discovered the Tea Collection Web site! And they just happened to be having a big sale, with 20% off already reduced prices THIS WEEK ONLY!

My fabulous baby shower!
My baby shower was Sunday at noon, and it was fabulous! A big thank you to my friends who hosted it and friends who attended -- especially Missy who took the train down from NJ just for the shower! You all absolutely made my shower the most amazing day ever. Little Lima Bean is so lucky to have tons of great "aunties" like you gals!

Now, check out the fabulous decor! Libby used vintage Lima Bean labels to decorate soup cans filled with pink flowers! She also used the vintage labels to make favors that were filled with green jelly beans! It was the most creative and cutest thing ever! Even the balloons matched the Lima Bean theme!

Now, check out the food! Oh my goodness it was delicious! And the cupcakes... Red velvet all the way. But all of them were seriously delish! Wow! And check out the adorable diaper cake that Chimmy made! Holy cuteness meets practical!

Finally, the gifts! My goodness but you ladies spoiled me and baby Lima Bean. She is so lucky to have you all looking out for her and dressing her in all these adorable outfits! I'm now set on clothes, bath stuff, baby toys and gear, even a manly Diaper Dude bag that Papa Bean can carry!

Papa Bean came to pick me up after an amazing afternoon. Can't wait for Little Lima Bean to try on all her new outfits and play with her new toys... What a lucky baby (Week 32, Day 4)!

Got our crib mattress! Adorable baby clothes! Love the new 'hood!
Today was a wonderful day... Started with some light unpacking. Enjoyed breakfast in our new home. Then we walked along a path down the street to downtown Bethesda!

Our house may be on a quiet street, but we are within a nice 15-20 minute stroll to tons of shops and restaurants in town. The path, known as the Bethesda Trolley Trail, will be great to walk baby Lima Bean on in her stroller. And I can go running along the trail, which runs from Rockville to Bethesda and hooks up with the Capitol Crescent Trail to D.C., to get back into shape! We are so lucky to have such a great location. I am so excited about our new neighborhood!
On our walk into town, we stopped at Urban Country's big clearance sale and I picked up some adorable baby clothes for Baby Lima Bean at half off! Check out this adorable newborn hat and mittens! And this cute pink hat and booties! All organic and so soft!

We then enjoyed a delicious meal at Cafe Deluxe, I got a manicure and pedicure, some delicious gelato and we walked home! I got an e-mail letting me know that our crib mattress was in, so we turned the day productive by zipping out to pick it up! Pictured below is the Eco-Friendly Sealy Posturepedic Springfree Crib Mattress. I ordered it on sale for $119 from Wal-Mart

Oh My Cuteness!
We just got a surprise package in the mail from Aunt Kelly and Uncle Benny! And oh my goodness, look a this cuteness!

K&B were in GAP recently and they discovered the baby section, which apparently is filled with the most adorable clothes on Earth! I mean, just look at these onesies!
Aunt Kelly thoughtfully picked out this adorable green onesie (size 0-3 months) for Baby Bean to wear immediately. Ooooh, she'll be so cute! Love the flower detail! How cute is this?!
And check out this lime green "Tree Hugger" onesie (size 3-6 months) for Little Lima to wear as it gets colder outside! Love it!
Thank you! Your little niece will look soooo adorable in these outfits!

Holy Cuteness!
It finally happened. I have become obesessed with baby clothes! The onesies, the bibs, the hats, booties... They're just too adorable!
So in the run-up to tomorrow's big appointment, where we find out of Lima Bean is a boy or a girl (have you voted yet?!) I present to you some totally adorable clothes for both boys and girls:

But if Lima Bean is a boy... He'll rock out to these totally smart looks!

And I have to say, I don't think that girls clothes take the cake on cuteness. There is a wealth of totally adorable baby boy clothes too. Of course, if we have a boy, there may be a limit to how cute Papa Bean will let me dress Lima Bean. And a girl? Don't think she'll be all in pink. Girls can wear other colors too!

Which line will Lima Bean be wearing? Stay tuned... We find out tomorrow!
If Lima Bean is a girl... She'll be decked out in these totally cute outfits!

Gifts from Cousin Jessie!
What a wonderful surprise! We got a notice that a package from Cousin Jessie was waiting for us at the Post Office. I picked up the box and couldn't wait to open it up to see what was inside!

The box included this handwritten note:

And look at all these goodies for the baby!
An adorable onesie... A collection of baby legos, my favorite toy ever! And some baby spoons, forks and a sippy cup! Thank you, Cousin Jessie! This is an awesome gift! You will be such a great big cousin. :-)

Lima Bean's 1st Outfit and Book!
As promised, here are the super cute NYC gifts that Aunt Kelly Bean and Uncle Benny Bean sent to Lima Bean! He or she will truly be a New Yorker, even down here in D.C., in this adorable onesie! And, of course, any child of Papa Bean - boy or girl - will grow up as a Yankees fan! And check out this adorable book about being an eco-friendly baby!

Very, very cute stuff. Thank you Aunt Kelly and Uncle Benny!
