Alexa and Daddy get silly at Mussel Bar

What a great day! It started with swim class at the outdoor Bethesda Pool. Alexa went to her first class with Daddy last weekend. This weekend, Mommy got in on the fun! Alexa's friend Brandon is also in her class. They had fun kicking, jumping into the pool and blowing bubbles (sort of)! After swim class, we headed to Bethesda for lunch at Mussel Bar. Alexa and Daddy had silly face contest!

Also this past weekend, I got Alexa a new pair of sunglasses called Babiators! She needed a new pair of sunglasses and the women at KD's Treehouse were raving about them. I soon found out why... Alexa won't keep her own sunglasses on, so once we got hit by some bright sunlight, I put my sunglasses on her to try to "teach" her how nice they can be. She, um, sort of liked it. But what she really wanted to do was rip them off and put them in her mouth...

Alexa's first trip to the BEACH!

Alexa enjoyed playing with the tube of sunscreen, an empty water bottle, her sippy and some plastic dolls. Note to self: Buy beach toys to keep her occupied!

Alexa liked the beach... As long as she was in our arms! She loved flying through the air and bouncing.

However, once we put her down so she could get her feet wet in the ocean... Not so much. (Is it bad that even though she is NOT happy, I still think she is so darn cute?!)

She did like playing with her friends!
