Let's Go, Steelers!

Alexa and Henry were so cute decked out in their Steelers gear that we decided to take ONE good photo to post on Facebook. Here are the outtakes of our quickie photo shoot! We started with these shots...

Then, Daddy got out the "Terrible Toddler Towel" and we got some more animated shots! So cute! The large one below is the one we ended up posting on Facebook. Do you agree with our choice?

Alexa cheers the Steelers on for the Superbowl!

Daddy has proclaimed that this photo of Alexa from last night's Superbowl is the cutest one ever taken! I have to agree that she looks pretty darn cute. Our little Steeler! Too bad the Steelers lost... No more cute football outfits for Alexa. :-(

So anyway, after modeling her Superbowl outfit, Alexa got down to watching the game. Or, er, watching will riding her giraffe... And pointing at the TV while telling us fuu-ball! fuu-ball!

Finally, for dinner, Alexa enjoyed a Pittsburgh favorite... Perogies! She loved them!

Ba-ba-ba-ba-Babara Ann! (video)

These videos were from dinner last night. Alexa was enjoying her latest favorite song... In the first video, she's dancing along and clapping her hands. In the second VERY SHORT video, she started singing along! And in the third video, she decided to play with her tongue, which she has lately discovered. I wish they were all on one video. Anyone know how to stitch them all together? In the meantime... Enjoy!

Sunday = Steelers!

Here we go Steelers, here we go! And here's Alexa all dolled up to watch the Steelers playoff game at a friend's house. We tried three ponytails to get her hair out of her face. Look how cute!

Over at our friend's house, Alexa loved playing with the other kids! She especially loved getting to know her friend Julia, who is two years older. Alexa went to Julia and Sara's 2nd birthday party when she was in my tummy and to their 3rd birthday party when she was almost one. She also enjoyed watching "fa-ball" on the TV and eating lots of junk food like chips and chocolate cookies! Pizza? Not so much.

Football Sunday!

Go Steelers! Go Steelers! Alexa and Daddy played with her football while watching football and teaching her how to say "fut-bowel"!

Alexa's 2nd Halloween! She's a football!

Alexa was adorable in her Halloween costume as our little football! Everyone commented on how original it was. Here she is a the costume parade this morning at the Farmer's Market. I told people over and over that my mom made it for her. Yay for a winning costume!

Here is Alexa and her friend Ella, who was an adorable Snow White, at the Farmer's Market costume parade. The girls were all over the place, it was hard to get them in the same frame for a photo!

Alexa's friend Avery, who was a beautiful purple butterfly, also came to meet us for the costume parade. Here are all the girls with their daddies. So cute!

After a long afternoon nap, Alexa was up and ready for our neighborhood party. We went as players and she was our little football!

The neighborhood party ended with another costume parade. Alexa got a late start and kept running the wrong direction, so we got left behind, but she still had fun! At the end of the parade, all the kids posed for photos!

Finally, as the sun was setting, Alexa and I took off for some trick or treating. We only hit about 12 houses. Alexa is too young to eat the candy or say "trick or treat," but she really enjoyed the crinkle candy wrappers and picking a piece of candy out of a tray and putting it into her bucket!

Go Steelers! Go Steelers! Go Steelers!

Alexa got this Steelers jersey from my friend in Pittsburgh. And she could not wait to wear it! Have you ever seen a cuter Steelers football fan? Well, my friend is having a little girl any day now, so then we'll have two adorable Steelers babies! Whoo hoo!

In the afternoon, we went over to Aunt Missy's house to hang out with Grandpa Howard, Mema Wanda, Great Uncle Richard, Great Uncle Mike and Great Aunt Sara. Alexa had fun seeing everyone! She also had fun running around in the back yard...

On our drive back to DC, we stopped for lunch and Alexa had fun drinking water from a STRAW!
