We have a *NEW* due date... 9/9/09

So my EDD (emphasis on "Estimated" Due Date) of Sept. 2 has come and gone with no baby in sight. Enter my new due date! And this one is not "estimated." I WILL deliver on or before Sept. 9, 2009.

That's because I am scheduled for an induction on that date. I would need to check in at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8, and spend the night. Induction would begin at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

This date is a good one... 9/9/09. How cool is that?! My favorite number is 3. And that makes 9 my favorite favorite number because it is 3 x 3. There are so many meanings for the number. Plus, there are a lot of positive traits associated with the number "9."

The number 9 relating to a balanced numerological personality or cyclical timing energy is most often associated with tolerance, generosity, forgiveness, passion, creative energy, success, romance, benevolence, and a deep love of life. Nine energy flows like water and is reflective of universal love.

Like its cousin, the number 7, 9 is one of the most spiritual numbers.

The Day of Birth number is, by itself, a very important timing and natal consideration. The 9 as a Day of Birth number is frequently rewarding for those in the following lines of work: the arts, film, music, occult, teaching, writing, metaphysics, diplomacy, philosophy, managing people, travel, hospitality, counseling, therapy, and creative endeavors.

And, there are a whole host of really amazing people born on Sept. 9th, including at the top of the list, Papa Bean's grandmother! Here are some others born on this day: Actors Adam Sandler, Hugh Grant and Michael Keaton. And author Leo Tolstoy.

Sept. 9 also is the day that Washington, D.C., was named for former President George Washington. And it's "Chrysanthemum Day" in Japan. Plus, an even more important event took place on Sept. 9, 1942: That's the day Columbus' fleet set sail across the Atlantic.

And the Beatles' remastered album is out on Sept. 9, 2009! According to this site, there is some significance for the Beatles and the number "9." Of course, Papa Bean says that site misses the true significance of the date for the Beatles: "If the author had done his homework, he would know that John Lennon met Yoko Ono on Sept. 9, 1971."

Of course, there are some who think the date 9/9/09 is bad... And at least one person offering a special spell on that day -- to the highest bidder on eBay. But we think those people are crazy. There are many others who consider the date lucky and who are planning to get married on that day. Plus, Yankees great Roger Maris, who some still consider the home run king, wore #9.

Clearly, the date is special. And it'll be even more special if we welcome our little girl into the world on that day! Of course, if she wants to come earlier, that'd be cool too.
